Watching someone who has believed in me and my journey for such a long time be honored that night felt especially meaningful. In life, there are people who simply pass by, and there are people who quietly remain — constant, sincere, and beautiful through the years. Some relationships fade with time, but some continue to stay in your life with the same warmth from the very beginning. I felt deeply grateful for those rare connections that evening. @shinnsochung I love you so much 🩷

Ilia 🤍 My role debut.
I’ve spent much of my career with Mozart’s lighter heroines like.. Ilia is something different. A princess who chooses duty over desire, who carries the weight of her entire world on her shoulders, and yet when love asks everything of her.. she gives it willingly.
What moves me most about her is the discipline. All that feeling, held in check. A woman who constantly trains herself to be more than her emotions and in doing so, becomes something extraordinary.
I’ve been on a similar journey as a singer. There was a time I let myself get carried away by beautiful music.. and maybe used emotion as an excuse. Now I’m learning to step back, to listen more carefully, to find something more precise and true beneath the feeling. Ilia has been teaching me a lot.

🏛️ Sitting quietly in King’s Chapel, listening to the choir early in the morning, I kept thinking about how this place has been resonating with music for over 500 years.
You can feel the weight of history here. Newton around every corner, ancient stone that seems frozen in time and yet the energy of the students keeps everything vibrantly alive. It felt like walking through a living story.
To bring my own voice into that space, and to share music so directly and honestly, was deeply meaningful to me. Thank you @josephmittelstadt @blissinternationalsongseries ❤️
